The story:
- Will and Ryan started the project and have worked with Sacramento’s finest along the way to meeting Adam and Scott, two more life long musicians.
- Adam was gigging with his own band and running his promotion company when he met Will and Ryan’s group, Penwin, and took them on as a client. After a year of progress in this relationship, he disbanded his company, joined what became the inversions, and put all of his writing and organization efforts into the new collaborative band.
- Scott has been a drummer since his motor skills developed and has been at the top of Sacramento’s talent pool for years.
- The name refers to the inversion layer created at dusk when sound refracts more during the coming night over the day’s pocket of warm air.
